West Side Market is full of offerings that will tempt any palate. Its culturally diverse vendors are nestled inside a beautiful historic landmark, located in Cleveland’s Market District. I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of cheeky vendors who each brought a smile to my face. The first image is a gentleman who was selling fresh produce. He lured me in with his Cleveland Indians attire and samples of juicy cantaloupe. The second gentleman was selling watermelon next to him. He was quite the character and asked, “Aren’t you going to take my picture?” Of course I said, “Sure!” They both epitomized the hard-working businessmen who are proud of their wares and their city. The other two shots are of the strawberry macarons that tempted my palate (the lone macaron on the top was calling my name) and a cool mural next to the market that captured my attention.
Since I live a few hours away from Cleveland, this was my first time experiencing West Side Market. I highly recommend this destination and I hope to go back someday soon.
